The Graduate School of Kumasi Technical University has been in existence since 2011 as part of the School of Graduate Studies, Research and Innovation (SGSRI). In 2015, SGSRI was split into The Graduate School and the Institute of Research, Innovation and Development. The objective was to strategically position Kumasi Technical University for progression of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) graduates and to set the pace and also promote excellence in postgraduate education within the TVET. The Graduate School aims to develop and deliver graduate TVET programmes in all departments of the University; and to promote talents, research, and leadership of the graduate education system at Kumasi Technical University.
